We all know that hard work and dedication is the way to success, but the path isn't always easy or exactly clear. This is just a part of life, but the Bible is here to guide and motivate us during even the toughest of times. God wants us to thrive in all aspects of our lives, and he gave us the tools, talents, and gifts to do just that. It's easy to forget sometimes, but these Bible verses about hard work are easy reminders that the Lord is always here, standing by our side.
So whether you're not sure what step is next (check out Proverbs 16:3), if the long journey is worth the reward (see 2 Timothy 4:7), or if you just need a little reminder that God is always watching (1 Corinthians 10:31 has your back), these Bible verses have inspiration for any situation you find yourself in.

Psalm 128:2
"You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you."
The Good News: God rewards those who work hard, and that can come in a variety of ways. But if you continue to put in a solid work ethic, you deserve whatever is outcome.

Psalm 90:17
"Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!"
The Good News: Anything we set forth to do without God's initial blessing is meaningless. It's important to make sure whatever we do is in the eyes of the Lord, and therefore we ask for his blessing over our work.

"In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty."
The Good News: You have to talk the talk and walk the walk if you expect to succeed. Put in the hard work and long hours, and you will see wealth come your way. If you simply dream of it or and don't make action, you won't see a dime.

2 Thessalonians 3:10-12
"For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies. Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living."
The Good News: Those not willing to put in the work do not deserve the reward at the end of the journey. If you decide to put in the effort and dedication that it takes to succeed, do so quietly and without pride. Then the Lord will know who you are truly working for.
